Black Rice Vegetable Congee

Ingredients:

  • 15g ginger
  • 50g black rice
  • 30g carrots
  • 30g oyster mushrooms
  • 30g green papaya
  • 20g baby corn
  • 20g celery
  • 15g sesame oil

Directions:

  1. Skin the ginger and cut it into slices. Dice the green papaya, carrots, oyster mushrooms and baby corns. Mince the celery.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a pan and sauté the ginger slices. Next, add the oyster mushroom and carrot dices.
  3. Add 500cc hot water, cooked black rice, green papaya and baby corn dices. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Add the minced celery last.
