Da Ai TV began broadcasting in 1998, officially launching media efforts to record Tzu Chi volunteers’ footprints and accompany countless people’s lives.

Historical Development
Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation established, initially focused on charity, handwriting records of every donation and visit, forming the prototype of humanities documentation.
Master instructed "Tzu Chi must have its own pen, its own eyes, its own voice" — planting the core spirit of Tzu Chi Culture and Communication Foundation in the future.
Tzu Chi Monthly published (formerly "Tzu Chi Newsletter"), recording Tzu Chi volunteers and poverty relief stories.

Does Da Ai TV Have Advertising?
Does Da Ai TV broadcast commercial advertisements?
No. Da Ai TV is a non-profit channel that completely does not accept commercial advertisements, even when broadcasting locally in Taiwan, it does not insert corporate advertising content.
What are Da Ai TV's funding sources?
Its funding comes from three main parts:
1. Income from environmental volunteer recycling;
2.Donation support;
3. Corporate-sponsored public service announcements (non-commercial advertisement).
Do public service announcements count as advertisements?
Although similar in format to advertisements, Da Ai broadcasts public service announcements aimed at promoting humanistic spirit or environmental concepts, not commercial marketing for companies or products.
Is the overseas channel situation the same?
Overseas versions also maintain no commercial advertising regulations, with content all produced by the Humanities Center and charity promotional videos.
