"They bullied me because of how I looked. I could just keep the pain in my heart," said Justin Andolero in tears. Born with a tumor on her face, Justin from Bohol, Philippines has been experiencing discrimination and stigma for 18 years. Due to poverty, her family could not afford the operation she needed. Learning of her condition, Tzu Chi Philippines and Terence-Beth Martin Giving Hope decided to pay for Justin's surgery. After the tumor was removed, Justin looked in the mirror and was very happy. She said she used to feel ashamed when people looked at her, but now she can face everyone with confidence. It's not just her tumor that has gone, but also her pain and anxiety that she has borne for years.
