It's heartwarming to see how kindness can come full circle. When Turkey welcomed Syrian refugees, they couldn't have imagined that one day, these refugees would repay their generosity. Meet Rabia Eker (left), a survivor of the recent earthquake in Turkey's Gaziantep Province. After receiving aid from Tzu Chi Foundation, Rabia expressed her gratitude to a Tzu Chi volunteer who happens to be a Syrian refugee. This volunteer was once helped by Tzu Chi and is now paying it forward by helping the locals in need. "Before, Turkey opened its borders for Syrians to enter, and now they are helping us. We are like family!" Rabia exclaimed before embracing the Syrian volunteer. Their embrace is a reminder that we are all connected and that kindness has the power to bridge any divide.
