"I have never seen him so happy," said A-Bin's brother after reconnecting with his younger brother.

When A-Bin was young, he often indulged himself in gambling, a habit that overshadowed all aspects of his life and eventually led to his family severing ties with him.

In the last three years of his life, A-Bin stayed at Tzu Chi Nursing Home in Taichung. It was during this time that he was diagnosed with end-stage tongue cancer. Knowing that A-Bin would soon face difficulties in speech, the nursing home organized a singing show for him, as they knew how much he enjoyed singing. With their help, A-Bin also reconciled with his family after years of estrangement. Although A-Bin is no longer with us, his love remained in the world through his selfless act of donating his corneas to others.
